Building Worka for IWG to connect teams, spaces and data

We partnered with IWG to design Worka, a new platform that unifies workspace management, employee experience and analytics. The result: a cohesive digital ecosystem powered by a scalable design system built on Material Design.

IWG needed to bring multiple digital touchpoints together into one cohesive platform for managing flexible workspaces. Their global operations relied on a mix of disconnected systems for workspace setup, employee experience and analytics - creating complexity and slowing innovation.

Over a four-month engagement, we led UX and UI design for IWG’s new platform, Worka. Together with agency Visual Assets, we started with discovery workshops, we aligned stakeholders on the long-term vision, mapped key user personas and prioritised the most valuable user journeys.

Persona-led experience design

User journeys were mapped from detailed personas, helping tailor workflows for workspace managers, employees and customers. Each experience was designed to balance simplicity with depth, ensuring relevance across IWG’s global audience.

Scalable design system

We built a structured Figma library based on Material Design, ensuring consistency across teams and accelerating future releases. The system acts as a shared foundation for design and development, enabling IWG to scale their product offering quickly and confidently.

The final brand experience

Worka now delivers a more cohesive digital experience for IWG’s global users - streamlining operations, enabling new services and setting the foundation for continued innovation in flexible workspaces.
