I’ve been trying to find the right solution to being healthy (and full) at work. More often than not, I’ve got in a packet of biscuits that, for some reason, doesn’t survive to the end of the day and afterwards, I feel pretty crap.
I’d like to make a change, so inspired by my sister-in-law, I went down to Sainsbury’s this morning to get a smoothie, which should fill-me-up, but also be good for me. I also picked up some grapes instead of having crisps.

Ideally, I think I’d like to get in a load of fruit and borrow my wife’s blender – maybe that will come next week (looking at Amazon, I can pick one up for £25 anyway). That would be better, as I can ride past a local greengrocer and pick up what’s seasonal (you can find lots of ideas for recipes on the Innocent Smoothies website).
I’m not trying to build this up too much, as I’m quite inconsistent when it comes to routine, but let’s see how it goes.
